Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS)
Wilderness First Aid (WFA)
9 Days while in Lower Grand Canyon: Whitewater Rafting, Camping, Hiking, Seminar, Personal Growth, Learning, Adventure, and lots more!
This is a unique seminar lasting nine days on the Colorado River, Whitewater Rafting, Camping, Hiking, Exploring, through the Grand Canyon! AWLS is perfect for healthcare providers and WFA is great option for non-healthcare providers.
This expedition is for those who are fit, adventurous, and have a love of nature and the wilderness--while learning Advanced Wilderness Life Support (AWLS) (or Wilderness First Aid), on an expedition of a lifetime. Healthcare Providers (and non-healthcare providers) of all ages are welcome. Non-healthcare providers, read on, as there is an option for you to obtain your Wilderness First Aid Certificate. All adventurers must be at least 12 years of age.
This continuing education expedition will take place:
- Arrival at Grand Canyon South Rim: April 24th, 2020 and
- Raft the Grand Canyon for approx 9 days, then
- Depart Flagstaff, AZ: on May 4th, 2020.
