You will find programs sponsored by your student nurses' association on this and the following pages. Select the program(s) you desire, and register via the checkout.

The proceeds from the course(s) noted are distributed to the SNA account. These courses are provided as fundraising to help fund the programs designed and arranged by your Student Nurses Association Board.

Program 2: Basic Life Support (BLS / CPR)

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS/CPR)

Upon completing this course, you will be issued an American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) for Health Care Providers course completion eCard, valid for two years. BLS/CPR is a required credential for healthcare providers and students. CPR/BLS provides the life-saving steps of patient resuscitation.

To complete this course, you must do the following:

Before the course date:

Register and pay for the course (on this website).
Complete the ONLINE portion (Part I) before your scheduled skills session (Online access is emailed 1 week before the course).

When you arrive for the course:

Sign in on the course roster.
Bring the required online course completion certificate.
Complete the skills practice session (Part II).
Complete your "skills check" (Part III) with one of our BLS/CPR instructors.
Complete the post-course evaluation.

Bring with you to the course:

Your printed online skills completion certificate (or an image on your phone).
Photo ID (i.e., driver's license or student ID).

We are not permitted to admit you to the course without these items.

Note: BLS eCards are issued approximately 24-48 business hours after your in-person skills session.
